Aba, apart frm bad road in some places n indiscriminate dumping of refuse, has a lot of good spots n hotels for relaxation if u ve ur cash. Fun most times is dependent on cash

Aba the Taiwan of Africa.

Great in creativity and innovation.

Aba is the Aba of Africa, no second to anybody. Taiwan does not call itself anything but Taiwan. We need to stop this please. Can you imagine Tokyo calling itself the New York of Asia? Just a thought.

My brother Imo don spoil. I'm from Abia, live in Owerri, Imo State. Used to be proud of the state but recently things are getting ugly down here.

Now Abia is picking momentum courtesy our new Governor who happens to be from my town.

SO GO TO ABIA. You will enjoy it

I used "Taiwan" there in a figurative way.

Okay, but my point is that I see African cities constantly being called 'the so and so of Africa' and I just think it can be demeaning.

What about Ariaria market? Maybe the writer views Osisioma different from Aba proper. The major reason I go to Aba is for bulk purchase of household items at Ariaria. You can save 30,000 from a trip compared to Port Harcourt price.
