This are the list of the top 10 African football players according to Forbes.

1. Samuel Eto'o - Net worth: $90million
Eto'o with 4 African player of the year trophies to his name tops the chart. He was once the highest paid player in the world during a short stint at Anzhi Makhachkala where he earned $25 million a year.

2. Didier Drogba- Net worth: $70 million
At the age of 26, the Chelsea legend signed a deal worth $170,000 a week with Chelsea fc. He went ahead to sign even more lucrative contracts with Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray . He also have a lot of lucrative sponsorship deals.
