Your dish has seen better days. Plenty of contours on it and could affect the performance.

Any way, with your location and using a 3.2M dish.. Fringe sats you may receive include:

1)Paksat 1r @38e Cband
2) mashreq beam of Arabsat 5a @ 30.5e Ku band
3)Nss 10 @ 57e. Ku band
4) Eutelsat @ 8W Ku East beam
5) AM express @ 11W middle East beam
6) Badr 6/7 @26e
7) Eshail @25.5e

Try these for a start

Note that you are in the southern hemisphere so most of the satellites available to you are in the Atlantic region

Let's start one thing at a time.
Learn to say few things per time for clarity sake.

Your dish looks quite bad for fringe reception but it can nail satellites within your footprint.

So Start by tracking satellites within your footprint like
1) AB3@ 3W. Use 11150V45000 (mine97%)
2) Nss 10 @57e. Use 11009H3254(mine is 82%) and 11105H45000(mine is 64%)
3) ses5 @5e. Use 11727H27500 or 11747V27500 (mine 97%).

By tracking these easy to get satellites in your horizon and noting the highest % quality, it will to some extent give an idea of the performance of your dish.

So carry out this task and get back to the house.

Ok at moment i get with the badly shape a1.8 i get mbc dw ,kingship, rtc ,sauna, cctv electro with a very old white pfocus lnb originally from elliies south Africa probably hhigher than 0.3 noise factor going replace with a red twin classic with the old feedhorn as the blackpro feedhorn don't fit my bracket

So carry out this task and get back to the house.

Re: Strictly For 3meter And Above Dish Owners by life707: 1:53pm On Jun 05, 2016
Sorry Nss 12

I am talking of the 3.2M dish. Look at the edge all round the dish. It has many irregularities. Note that good reception is a function of precision and not gross outlook.
By and large, we will have a better clue of its performance when you track satellites with footprints within your horizon.

Definition of Terms:
1) Fringe satellites- are satellites signals not covering your location/region E.g Hotbird @13e or Astra @19.2e

2) Footprint Satellites- are satellites whose signal cover the area/ region u set up your dish. E.g ses5 @5e or nss12 (East African beam) @57e or Eutelsat 36B @ 36e

In simple terms, u can nail footprint satellites with small dish E.g 60 or 90cm while you will require bigger dish to receive fringe satellites. E.g 2.4M dish.

So let's know what you can receive with your 3.2m first before searching for fringe satellites.

I hope this helps.
