Why bring this up wen u no our maths is dead n needing over a hundred billion to resurrect it?

you are a genius if you know where I got that 6. lol

30 is an even number and all of the given numbers in that pool are odd. When u add 2 odd numbers u get an even number but when u add 3 odd number u are back to another odd number. So it is impossible to get 30 from the addition of any three of those numbers or indeed their repititons. Simple mathematical theory

No your approach is wrong since the question did not mention any number bases. This is a very simple but tricky question. The trick is from the odd numbers where sum of three odd numbers is always an odd number. However the solution is from the question as well where it says the numbers can be repeated. Now looking at the numbers only the numbers 3, 5 and 7 can be repeated to get 30.

you can repeat the numbers |3| + |5| + |7|= 30 So the 1st box is filled with 3 and 3, the 2nd with 5 and 5 while the third with 7 and 7 add all = 30
