This is not new. If you want to see more of this, come to ojuelegba and yaba in the early hours of the day arround 5 and 6 am. You will see a lot of them re-engineered to carry heave loads mostly tokunbo clothes to tejuosho cloth market. At times you the conductor sitting on the bonnet controlling traffic for the driver.

You are exposing smugglers secret, if dem catch you.

Gazzuzz, lomomike, make una come see oh cheesy

If you go to badagry youl see alot of this, its used to smuggle goods and so when the good s are stocked in the car it would not go so low rather it would balance like a normal car rather than going way below if this was not done

Who cares? They are usually stopped by police at ojuelegba under bridge. Just come there around 5am and 6am in the morning most especially mondays. You will see it yourself.

The car is wearing high heel
Re: Only Seen On Lagos Roads (photo) by Rexyl(m): 5:18pm On Jul 25, 2015
lomomike:

They raised the rear so high in such manner so that it can come down to normal level when its overloaded. If its kept at normal factory setting, when its overloaded, the rear underbody side will scrub the ground.

In some places where smaller vehicles are used to transport heavy loads, certain vehicles are altered in such a way to carry heavy load in the rear. They will just strengthen the absorbers and probably increase their sizes so that bigger tyres can be fitted at the rear. Pick up vehicles are usually rebuilt that way for transportation of cassava tubers in certain part of the country.
