A Business card is a small card usually with a standard side measuring 2inch by 3.5 inch .It identifies a businessman in connection with his business. It is given to a client, potential customer and also shared during formal introductions.
These days business cards are designed to create a visual appeal in contrast with how it used to be years ago when it was black text on White background.
Despite the fact that there are several online tools to create business cards entrepreneurs are still advised to hire a Graphic Designer, let the professionals handle it they would come up with something brilliant and professional that stands out.

A Business Card is not expected to provide all the in-depth details and story of your business it usually includes your name, Position, company name, address, phone numbers, e-mail and Website
The Business card helps in building your brand image and helps you make a strong and impressive impression whenever you meet a potential client or customer for the first time.
It will help keep your business in the mind of the potential customer. One of the ways business grows is by constantly attracting new customers while retaining current ones, when you hand someone your business card you are telling the person the services you offer and what you are able to do. The potential client might not need your service at that point but you have created an opportunity for him to contact you in future when the service you provide is needed.
The opportunities created by handing out a business card does not end with a possibility of the potential client calling you up to render services in future, but it could also lead to you establishing new business partnership and alliance, getting a new and better job and consequently helping you make more money.
Some business professionals have argued that in these days of smart phone having information sharing app there is no need for a business Card but when you meet someone for the first time and you start tapping your phone during a conversation you may appear rude and uninterested in what they have to say. In a conversation you are expected to be focused, maintain eye contact and probably wear a smile. More so exchanging business cards still seems to be an excellent way to initiate a lasting relationship. The traditional way of exchanging business card may be old-fashioned but it very much a powerful tool for marketing since it still represents your business in text and design

Even with the advent of email and other social media network people still expect you to have a business card. It shows professionalism.
There are few things to note when ordering a business card
· Do not compromise on quality
· Do not clutter
· Get professional help
· Choose the appropriate font
Always remember the business card is the Business man’s companion it should go with you everywhere.
