Spain’s Don Quixote airport which cost €1bn to build has been sold at a bankruptcy auction for just €10,000. The airport is totally broke!

Money is needed right now. Sad! €1bn airport has crippled Spain because of no customer

Ciudad Real’s La Mancha airport, also known as Don Quixote airport, officially opened for business in 2008. In 2010, it opened to international flights, but unfortunately went bankrupt and was closed in 2012 after it failed to attract interest from airlines. As a result, it was abandoned till now that it was auctioned

Located just an hour away from the Madrid airport by car, spanish news outlet Europa Press reports that the airport invited bids at a bankruptcy auction site this week to get rid of the site- but received only one buyer so far. How much did the Chinese bidder agree to pay?
Funny! - Just €10,000 for a big international airport + they will tell him 'Thank you sir!'

That means Nigeria is even better .

What it technically means is that by paying 10000 Euros,the investor will inherit both asset and liability which could be as high as tens of billions

They are not paying back.I am not sure that they even generate enough funds for their maintenance.
