V*ginal odour is nothing but an unpleasant odor that comes from the vagina. It can be caused due to bacterial or yeast infection, sexually transmitted disease and even due to poor sanitation. V*ginal odour can be really embarrassing and it is advisable to treat it as soon as possible. The v*ginal odour is accompanied by the following warning signs, itchiness in the vagina, redness, fishy or rusty smell.

Below are possible ways to get rid of v*ginal odour;

GARLIC

Garlic is a natural antibiotic that can be great for dealing with v*ginal infections as well as v*ginal odour. The anti-fungal properties present in garlic will help fight a yeast infection and help your body get rid of bad bacteria.

You can eat one or two raw garlic cloves on an empty stomach with a glass of warm water or put a piece of garlic in the vagina for an hour or two. Do this daily or a few times a week until you get rid of the problem.

CITRUS FOODS

Citrus foods can also help your body fight infections more effectively and prevent v*ginal odour because they are rich in vitamin C, an immune booster, and they can also help remove harmful toxins present in the body.
These fruits will also help fight urinary tract infections. Simply eat fruits such as grapes, oranges, sweet lime, lemons, cranberries, grapefruits, pineapples and much more.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

Water naturally removes the harmful toxins and bacteria from the body while improving its metabolic activity. Water also helps to clean out the excess sugar from the body as sugar is one of the main factors that cause v*ginal odour. You should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily in order to get rid of v*ginal odour.

YOGHURT
Taking yoghurt helps a lot in controlling v*ginal odour because of its high in lactobacillus content, which helps to maintain the pH level in the vagina. You can also apply yoghurt topically on the vagina, take a tampon and soak it in yoghurt diluted with water. Place the tampon into your vagina for about 5 minutes and rinse properly with cold water. Besides the fact that they’re awesome,

vaginas are tough and there’s so much that many people don’t know about them.
