Microsoft Lanches Windows 10 OS In 190 Countries As Free Upgrade by Lautechgossip(m): 9:28pm On Jul 29, 2015
Microsoft has released the final build of the Microsoft Windows 10 OS; the last version of the Windows OS is available in 190 countries around the world for users on genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS or with new tablets and PCS.

Microsoft is touting Windows 10 as a universal platform for its ability to run on several devices ranging from PCs to tablets to mobile phones to XBox One to Raspberry Pi and more.

Much of the key features of Windows 10 stems from the integration of Cortana, replacing the long detested Windows Explorer browser with an all new designed Microsoft Edge browser which is responsive and would work on all devices (obviously running Windows 10).

It also marks the return of the Start Menu & Task Bar whilst also not forgetting the all new Continuum feature for mobile phones. Other features includes – an integrated XBox app, office mobile apps, built-in apps and Microsoft phone companion app.

Upgrading to the Microsoft Windows 10, if you are eligible either as a genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 OS owner or a member of the highly regarded Windows Insider Program, is very easy. Starting today, a notification will show up in your taskbar when the upgrade is ready to be installed. Lazyreporta

Before you install the Windows 10, kindly make sure your system meets the minimum required requirements;

• Display resolution: 1024 x 600 pixels
• Processor: minimum 1.0 GHz
• RAM – 1 GB for 32-bit / 2 GB for 64-bit
• Space needed: 16 GB for the 32-bit Windows 10 / 20 GB for the 64-bit Windows 10
• Graphic card with DirectX 9 support

You should know that Windows users on Windows RT, Windows 8 Enterprise, Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows Vista, Windows XP and those running pirated copies of Windows are not eligible for the free upgrade.

At the moment, you should also know there are several editions of the Windows 10 OS and in terms of pricing – the Windows 10 Home will sell for $199 and the Windows 10 Pro will sell for $199.
