Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic
Party ( PDP ) on Thursday constituted a 17 man
Reconciliation and Mobilization Committee to
bring together all aggrieved members and to
mobilize members and supporters of the party
across the three senatorial districts ahead of
the 2016 governorship election in the state .
Inaugurating the committee at the party’ s
secretariat in Benin City, the Edo state capital ,
the state Chairman of the PDP , Chief Dan
Orbih said the committee headed by Chief
Raymond Dokpesi “is an all important one
whose efforts would go a long way to boost the
support base of PDP in the state . ”
Orbih who said members of the body were
drawn from the three senatorial districts of the
state also noted that Chief Dokpesi and other
members of the committee were carefully
chosen by the party leadership “based on their
track record of experiences in politics to bring
about the much needed reconciliation and
mobilization for support for the party.
He pointed out that with the caliber of
personalities and activities of the committee ,
the party was poised towards reclaiming the
Dennis Osadebay Avenue government house
next year, just as he charged the members to
spare no efforts at ensuring that the dreams
and aspirations of the PDP are realized in order
to enthrone real change in the polity of the
state .

Owere Dickson Imasogie , and several others.
