am a graduate Dr of uniport. once i was in upth attending to a prof of chemical engineering from university of johanesburg who came to uniport who came to nigeria to do a masters in an aspect of petroleum engineering in the IPS (institute of petroleum studies and) as they wanted to start up d dept in their school.
this shows some of the areas in which uniport excels as IPS is said to be of d same quality with that of france.

well well well, the compilers of the list may av a point by using research as the criteria for the ranking. m sure many dont know the importance of research. its jst the same criteria for being a professor which is based on a certain number of research papers authored by the individual. so basically a uni that has a significant contribution towards research has the right to be included on that list.

u have never heard of THE ranking cos apparently u do not check up the best rankings. google is available gor u. type in TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION RANKING and see for urself. no need to argue.
as d write up says they brought up new parameters for the ranking. and whats d big deal about uniport making it to the list. must it be UI and oda schools
