Am almost 30 already living with my parents, got a job about two years ago, came across some cash now but thinking of buying a car or getting apartment of my own as against settling down things. Buy a car first, if you go for a house first be aware that your daily expenses will for slightly affect your savings to a buy a car in a short while: so buy a car and stay one extra year or six months with your parent before you move: Im saying from experience:

Depends on how important the car will be to your movements. And if you are not under any pressure to move out of your parents house, why waste your cash on rent? My opinion though. Ultimately, the decision still rests on your shoulders.
