EPL Matches Prediction Thread by doublezero7(m): 11:46am On Aug 08, 2015
Hello soccer loving EPL fans, welcome to my prediction thread for the 380 matches in the league for the 2015/2016 season.

Man Utd v Tottenham

With a lot of new faces in both squads, it is right to say the game would be close as usual. But with England Internationals Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane leading the attack for their teams, goals should be expected in this game! Coupled with the fact that first choice goalkeepers, David De Gea and Hugo Lloris would be missing in action, it is going to be a fairly opened game!

Prediction: Man Utd 3 vs Tottenham 1

Bournemouth v Aston Villa

Newly promoted Bournemouth would want to begin their Premier League Campaign with a win against a much improved Aston Villa side. However, even with the lose of club captain Fabian Delph and top striker, Christian Benteke to Manchester City and Liverpool respectively, I expect Villa to pick up the win here!

Prediction: Bournemouth 0 v Aston Villa 2

Everton v Watford

After a not to impressive season last year, Roberto Martinez would want to hit the ground running with a win over newcomers, Watford. But, this match won't be a walk in the park for the Everton as Watford have an impressive scoring record from last season! Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo who scored 17 goals in 27 appearances would be a torn in the flesh of the Liverpool based side!

Prediction: Everton 2 v Watford 1

Leicester v Sunderland

Dick Advocaat would kick start his first full season in the EPL with an away game to last season surprise package, Leicester City. Few goals should be expected though, even with the presence of Jermaine Defoe and arrival of Dutch man Lens! The game could be won by a piece of individual brilliance by any of the team.

Prediction: Leicester 1 v Sunderland 1

Norwich v Crystal Palace

Norwich marks their return to the EPL with a home fixture against Crystal Palace! Alan Pardew would however expect his chaps to hit the ground running with a win considering the fact that the team's attack has been significantly boosted in the transfer window.

Prediction: Norwich 0 v Crystal Palace 2

Chelsea v Swansea

Reigning Champions of England, Chelsea host Swansea to kick start the defense of their title. Truth be told, everyone should expect an outright victory for Chelsea. With Arsenal beating Chelsea at the Community Shield match last week and the Only One, Jose Mourinho extending his contract till 2019, it is safe to say the boys from Stamford Bridge would in by a wide margin.

Prediction: Chelsea 3 v Swansea 0

SUNDAY

Arsenal v West Ham

2015/2016 Community Shield winners, Arsenal host West Ham United who crashed out of the UEFA Europa League in midweek. The game would be the perfect test for new West Ham coach, Slaven Bilic who hasn't been entirely convincing in pre-season! However, Arsenal determination to start the season well should propel them to pick maximum points against the Hammers!

Prediction: Arsenal 3 v West Ham 1

Newcastle v Southampton

Steve McLaren would hope to begin his reign in the Premiership with a home win against Europa League campaigners Southampton. Ronald Koeman won't be on the sidelines as he recovers from the surgery in midweek. However, his assistant and brother, Erwin would take charge of the team for the match. I expect a tight contest but Southampton should carry the day.

Prediction: Newcastle 1 v Southampton 3

Stoke v Liverpool

Liverpool should win the EPL! Only if it is based on the number of signings made in the past 2 seasons. With Christian Benteke, Coutinho and Firmino leading the line and Jordan Henderson and James Milner in midfield, they should pick up the 3 points away to Stoke.

Prediction: Stoke 0 v Liverpool 2

MONDAY

West Brom v Man City

With Manuel Pelegrini extending his contract till 2019, Man City would hope for a winning start to the season as the visit West Bromish Albion. Even without Sergio Aguero, I tip City to overcome their opponents with Raheem Sterling making his EPL debut and youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho hoping to make his presence felt after being promoted to the senior team.

Prediction: West Brom 0 v Man City 3

Thanks and enjoy a sporting weekend.
