Re: Nigerian Males Outnumber Females, Says Fg by Ijawman(m): 2:28pm On Mar 22, 2009
Any census which says Kano is more populated than Lagos is already a farce. Any census which does not show how many Ijaw, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, Edo, Tiv, etc, there are in Nigeria is a farce. Therefore, the last census was a complete farce.
Re: Nigerian Males Outnumber Females, Says Fg by Strength10: 6:26pm On Mar 22, 2009
The last census was just a political ploy by OBJ and his Aboki counterparts to minimize the growing strength and influnece of a peope- the IGBOS, How will you not include tribe and religion in a census?? It does not make sense. They counted only the regions so they can reduce federal allocations to the southeast. They undercounted so many areas to reflect small numbers. Example, they said that Umuahia or some village in abia had 300thousand people but the house hold houses in that city was 220 thousand. How could those numbers agree? There was no census in Nigeria. Igbos live in huge numbers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Calabar ,Rivers etc so not counting thems is gross understestimation. Igbos are have the highest population in nigeria or maybe a very close second but nobody wants to reflex that because they are scared of something. Southeast has the highest population density in all of Africa based on Google Maps estimate and other international and independent estimate, but that was not reflected in the census and that is why world leaders still do not believe those numbers, It is a big Shame,

It has to be.

Men generally use this as an excuse to justify marrying multiple wives, as if they personally counted all the women and found them outnumbering men.

I can't speak for any other state but Lagos sha.
Women outnumber men oh. Unless all the men stay indoors.

I'm sure even in Lagos the men outnumber the women. In the molue business alone- how many women are drivers, bus conductors or okada operators.

In any business outside of selling tomatoes, men are more likely to dominate.

If u apply that same logic to the number of women vs men in unilag/all lagos malls, nightclubs, e.t.c your response may change
