The appalling level of intellectual ignorance in Nigeria is a great challenge to the intelligentsia of Nigerian intellectuals and the news media to promote intellectual activities and the cultural values of our society. It is the appreciation of our intellectual culture that will define the future of Nigeria as a great nation.

The sexploitation of Nigerian youths through pornographic and psychedelic music, movies and magazines is destroying the intellectual culture of the Nigerian society.

This sounds as if it has the potential to be an "intelligent" topic. How about delving just a bit deeper into these allegations?

If I got your question correctly I say

Yes I do agree some of the media crap out nowadays can dump down a kid but let face it what is there for a young man/lady growing up to do in that country? Unless you have a very good imagination it is very hard to survive in that country without reading magazine, watching movies e.t.c
It is down to the parent to try and control the youth behaviour because at that age they are easily manipulated.

Also don’t blame the lack of intellectual culture entirely on the youths please. Why don’t you start from the top, from the big people upstairs busy embezzling money like no man’s business and finish at the little people always bickering about whose tribe is better e.t.c
