Job Purpose: To coordinate all activities in a large and culturally diverse accommodation unit covering a wide range of interpersonal and logistical activities and perspectives. Also responsible for planning, organizing and improving the food services for the personnel whilst meeting the company’s expectations on food and hygiene standards.

Job Description:
• Ensures that the working environment rules, safety and sanitary procedures are adhered to
• To conduct hygiene audits in the camp and kitchen using storage methodologies to ensure camp health and sanitation standards are maintained
• Responsible for daily food cost returns, stock requisition and menu planning
• Should be able to develop food safety management system
• Act as a liaison person for the personnel as concerns issues in services rendered
• Responsible for hospitality services for the project operations
• In charge of the efficient day-to-day operations at the site by providing services in an effective and efficient manner.
• To maintain camp rules and regulations in the unit in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Job Specification:
• Academic qualification of successful graduation from a recognized catering school or equivalent degree in related catering field
• Between 5 years’ experience in catering supervision for offshore and onshore facility
• Having precise attention to detail and ability for accuracy
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
• Outstanding oral and written communications skills
• Ability to multi task.





Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Reports To: Catering/Camp Boss

Job Purpose
As a kitchen assistant, you will be required to provide a general level of assistance within the kitchen, including general food preparation, kitchen duties and cleaning.

Job Description:
• To undertake general preparation of food
• To assist in the preparation of meals under the supervision of the chef or other appropriate staff
• To understand and adhere to food hygiene, health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.
• To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, to ensure that a clean uniform is worn at all times
• To undertake general cleaning duties in the kitchen, including wiping work surfaces and mopping floors. This will also include stocking and emptying the dishwater at regular intervals.
• To provide a cleaning services, including setting and clearing of the tables in the kitchen.
• To work in a safe manner at all times and behave in such a way that the health and safety of workers are not affected
• To undertake any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the post and when required


Job Specification:
• Basic education

Job Title: Laundry Man
Reports To: Catering/Camp Boss

Job Purpose
The Laundry attendant is accountable for providing laundry service for the project

Job Description:
• Sorts all soiled linen, weighs and loads into appropriate carts or machines.
• Pre-treats laundry for stains.
• Cleans lint traps from dryer’s daily, checks and cleans drains as necessary.
• Dry the washed clothes before transferring to the ironing area.
• Iron and fold dried clothes and deploy to the designated areas.
• Arrange and maintain a sanitary hallway and area outside of the laundry rooms
• Ensure efficient and proper operation of laundry equipment;




Job Specification:
• A minimum academic qualification of SSCE
• Applicants must have 5 years’ experience in a similar work environment
• Highly skilled in operating all kinds of machinery in laundry and dry cleaning areas including washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders
• Ability to collect loads of laundry and wash it according to color and type of cloth.
• Knowledge of laundry cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and safely operate cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work with timeliness and thoroughness.
• Ability to work without direct supervision

Job Title: House Keeper
Reports To: Catering/Camp Boss

Job Purpose
The duties of a house keeper is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for team members

Job Description:
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or waxing machines.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses

Job Title: Chef / Cook

Job Purpose
The duty of a chef is to ensure that the Preparation, presentation and service of food products are of high quality at all times.

Job Description:
• Preparation of standard Continental and National dishes.
• Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food.
• Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• You will be responsible for the development and smooth operation of the kitchen operating with emphasis on quality
• Be actively involved in the supervision of the preparation, presentation and service of food products to ensure the highest quality at all times
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Job Specification:
• University/OND degree in any relevant field
• Applicants must have 5 years’ cognate working experience in a similar work environment
