It’s no news that Google’s affordable line up of smartphones Android One where coming to Africa, as the giant search aimed to connect at least half of the Earth’s billions occupants to one another via the internet. The program started with India last year and was significantly welcomed, the Android One line-up of devices are hitting key players in the African section soon.
Infinix Hot 2 Android One
The Android One device heading to Nigeria and Africa is produced by Infinix with partnership from MTN Nigeria, and Google. The device is dubbed Infinix Hot 2 which has been ravaging the cyber space with the hashtag #TheHottestOne, the Hot 2 is a follow-up of the hugely popular Infinix hot which was the highest selling device in Nigeria around March of 2015. Coming in dual variants, a 1GB RAM device and a 2GB RAM device both exceedingly cheap like all Android One device at prices pecked at 17,500Naira and 19500Naira which roughly equates to $87 and $97 respectively.

The Infinix Hot 2 like all Android One device features high-quality hardware experience with pure Android software. The device brings a quad-core MediaTek processor, dual SIM support, various color options including and black, white, red, blue, and gold, the operating system fitted of course is Android OS (Android 5.1.1 to be exact) which promises to compliment and enhance the CPU usage to boost performance by up to two times. Lollipop is known to favour battery life, so definitely, Infinix Hot 2 should do just that. There’s also news that the Android One HOT 2 will be opportune to receive an update to the next version of Android – Marshmallow 6.0 OS (according to Infinix’s schedule), and thus stays fast and responsive over time.
