Well from what I can conclude, Paypal has done its part, the ball is now in CBN's court. I don't believe there is much Paypal can do at this point than to wait for approval. This war no longer exists IMHO.

I sent a mail to PayPal last night and I was informed they had already made an application to have the Receive Money feature approved in Nigeria soon.

I think we need to directed our campaign to CBN since they are the apex financial regulatory agency in Nigeria!

PayPal cannot operate in Nigeria without the approval and backing of the Central Bank of Nigeria or am I wrong?

the approval won't come soon. What is at stake is far more important. The cbn and various banks need to have a solid system in place to check how money is been received and for what purpose. I think the beginning of this process was the bvn registration, many other structures are still been insituted .if the right thing isn't done the receiving money feature may turn out yo be a security risk as well as a problem for banks. But with time it will come. The problem isn't from PayPal since they stand to make money because t from the Nigerian side
