Please i urgently need help on this issue... I have exceeded the maximum trials of my unlock pattern and I cant access my phone... What can i do to access my phone.

Was your phone rooted beforehand? Was usb debugging enabled?

Since you say your files are important to you...
Search online for a CWM image for your phone, flash it using SP Flash tool.
From CWM recovery you can factory reset without wiping data.
