It is come to our notice that your group claim that the president want to manipulate the census figure, I on behalf of NigeriaONE.com wish to state that you Senator Uche Chukwumerije and The 2007 Movement, should know that 1973 and 1991 census figure were fraud which you use to base your statement, We at NigeriaONE.com have satellite pictures that show that the 1991 and 1973 census figure were mere fraud, this satellite pictures can also be obtain from NASA(USA) or you can download a free copy from google earth, We wish to inform you, that when the 2006 census figures are decleared , if it was conducted properly would be different from the 1991 census figure. We state that if the 2006 census figure looks like the 1991 census in ranking, it would be consider as fraud, because satellite pictures does not justified the 1991 census.

1 Satellite pictures shows that Kastina state can not been more populated than Oyo state, the reverse is the case, This satellite pictures show that Oyo state should be at less twice or more in population than Kastina, but the 1991 census figure claim that kastina state was 3.8 million while oyo state was 3.4 million, This figure can not be true,

2 Another example is that the satellite Pictures shows that the former Bendel state ( Edo and Delta ) is more populated that the five south east state of Imo, enugu, anambra, ebonyi, abia, But the 1991 census figure put the population of the south east state at about 10.5 million, while putting the former bendel state of Edo(2.1) and delta(2.7) at 4.8 million.

3 . It is impossible for Akwa Ibom state to have more population than cross river state, if what we found on satellite pictures is correct, but the 1991 census put Akwa Ibom state at 2.3 million, while cross river state at 1.8 million.

It is also impossible for Kastina state, Jigawa state, Kebbi state, zamfara state, sokoto state to be more populated than Kwara state , from the satellite pictures we recieve that can be verified with NASA, But the 1991 census figure but kwara state at 1.5 million while kastina state at 3.8 million, while Jigawa 2.7 million, kebbi state 2.1 million, sokoto and zamfara 4.3 million.

Another impossible figure of the 1991 census figure is putting the south east census figure at about 10.5 million while the former Oyo state of osun 2.2 and oyo 3.4 at 5.6 million. because satellite pictures show that the former Oyo state is more populated than the five south east of imo , abia, anambra, enugu and ebonyi,

7. Another impossible figure was that of Ondo state , satellite pictures shows that the former Ondo state of Ekiti and ondo is more populated than the former Anambra state of Enugu, anambra and ebonyi state. And also more about twice the population of River state,

8. Satellite Picture also show that Benin city is the fourth largest city in Nigeria, and is more populated than port harcourt, but the 1991 census figure says otherwise,

Also Satellite pictures shows that Ogun state 2.3 million is more populated than the former Imo state 4.4 million of abia 2.1 million and Imo state 2.3.million.

11. While satellite Pictures shows that Ondo state is more populated than the five south east , the census figure put ondo state at 3.8 million while the south east was put at 10.5 million,

12. While satellite Pictures show that Kwara state is more populated than bauchi state , the 1991 census figure put kwara state at 1.8 million and bauchi at 4.3 million.

13 While satellite picture shows that Benue state is more populated than kastina state , the 1991 census put benue state at 2.7 million while kastina at 3.8 million,

Obasanjo Poised To Change Handover Date – Lawmakers

Legislators in The 2007 Movement are worried that President Olusegun Obasanjo may change the handover date from May 29 to October 1 next year.

They accused him of not giving up on attempts to extend his tenure.

Chairman of the group, Senator Uche Chukwumerije, also alleged on Thursday that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Maurice Iwu, may be removed, the electoral time table modified, and the tenure of public officers extended.

He spoke in Abuja in company of his colleagues from the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Chukwumerije alleged that the Presidency is out to manipulate the result of the census and cause sectional uprising.

"In the heat of the national debate on the failed third term agenda of … Obasanjo," he recounted, "The 2007 Movement assured Nigerians and the international community that the third term agenda would be truncated at the National Assembly stage.

"We, however, did not mince words in alerting Nigerians that Obasanjo would not faithfully accept defeat; that he would indeed resort to other means to elongate the life-span of his regime .… However, there allegedly exists today subterranean moves to elongate the tenure of … Obasanjo.

"The 2007 Movement is compelled by the disconcerting consistency of the allegations to bring them to public domain. These allegations impinge on the prospects of free and fair elections and regime change in May 2007. We cannot dismiss them lightly. Our recent sad experience in which supposedly bizarre rumours eventually assumed the garb of reality has endowed our claims with apocryphal validity….

"The alleged game plan is as follows: (1) Change of hand-over date. October 1 is considered more appropriate and historically more relevant than May 29 for regime change; (2) In pursuit of a new handover date, the electoral time table will be modified. A contrived ground for the modification would be created through a series of actions, including change of INEC leadership, review of preparations so far made in respect of the general elections, the passing of a verdict of inadequate preparations and request for shift of date by the new leadership of INEC;

"(3) Release of the 2006 national census results would be programmed at a time when the ensuing predictable sectional disagreements will reinforce the argument that the national atmosphere is not conducive for hitch-free elections as earlier scheduled; (4) Even with the kite of interim government supposedly in abeyance, a new kite would be flown, as the atmosphere of national crisis and insecurity deepens and the prospects of peaceful elections look increasingly dim.

"Another attempt will be made to extend the tenure of the present crop of political office holders across the board, legislative and executive, by two years on the pretext of assuaging tension and preventing a vacuum; and (5) while all these are being contrived, some contingency plans will simultaneously be out in place (in case the tenure elongation plot fails again) to weaken opposition and install a surrogate regime."

Chukwumerije alleged that the following strategies, among others, "have been drawn to achieve this objective: Harassment and intimidation of political opponents through false accusation and charges; (ii) strategic disqualification of opponents; (iii) smear campaign against perceived opponents with a view to discrediting them in the eyes of the public; (iv) divide and rule of legislators through manipulations in the National Assembly and (v) infiltration and factionalisation of all political parties, except the ruling party."

House member, Usman Bugaje explained that The 2007 Movement went public because of fears over the elections.

He added: "Next Tuesday, we intend to invite INEC and all relevant agencies concerned. We will talk about the voters’ registration exercise. The news we are getting is this: Does INEC have sufficient number of machines to do the registration? If they do have, is there compatibility because our checks have revealed otherwise. For now, we are focusing on the elections. We don’t want to be distracted."

You seem to be working for OBJ, may be becuase I am not a politician and always critical of the leadership, As regards Obasanjo and handover which concerns me, The Senator, from political developments is not far from the truth and anyone who is objective and following recent events will attest to that fact, We dont need a prophet to tell us that Obasanjo will try to stay put. Anyway thats your opinion about the Senator, this is not to say the Senator is a saint we were witnesses to his ignoble roles during IBB days, but the cause they fight now is a just one and should be collective.

Omofineboy, I do not work for Obasanjo, if you notice, i never talked about obasanjo handing over, What i want to correct is the census figure he talk about,  IBB, Gowon and is group have been going about looking for ways to discredit the census figure,, And it is obvious why, since previous census were manipulated,  they do not want the exact figure to be know,   Look my argument is not saying everybody in lagos is Yoruba, it is obvious that igbo and the hausa have large population in lagos,  my point is that satellite picture does not justify previous census figure, and that you can't use the previous census figure to judge the outcome of this census figure, because the previous census were fraud, which we all see on satellite picture,  So Senator Uche Chukwumerije  should not claim Obasanjo is trying to  manipulated the census figure,  because if honestly the figure is out,  it would show a great different from the nonsense fraud of 1991 ,  which put ibadan at 600,000  while satellite picture shows that ibadan is close to the same land area of the present Imo state,  so Ibadan most be more populated than Imo state,   This is the argument ,  That we must declear the correct census figure even if it would not favour some part of nigeria , who have in the past claim fake and incorrect figure for their area,

Satellite pictures can show population concentrations which can give you an idea of relative population sizes.

Ask yourself this: What the hell goes on in Ondo state that will attract a population that will be bigger than Anambra?, Onithsa has a big industrial base, so does Nnewi (all in Anambra state).
