Re: Photomanipulation Design by sojioguns(m): 11:33am On Mar 31, 2009
@ poster, Very nice. I think the final image is a bit too dark. That's why Gamine couldn't appreciate the head removal/replacement.
Others could try fixing horns growing out of the guy's head and probably a third eye on his forehead.

oo.oO.oo

@Sojioguns, there was no point. . .

its just as easy as taking a plain sweater and putting fire on top

hence, no manipulation in what im seeing

Kemji. . .*sighs* sometimes i wonder if it is the same internet i'm on, that you are on too.

@ alexxie

Hi Gaminechic, i think you av to be observant
cos there are a lots of detailz on that very design but you oversighted them.

So can u see them in this.

Re: Photomanipulation Design by sojioguns(m): 10:48am On Apr 01, 2009
Hi alexxie,
Find below the following comments:
- Points 1 & 2: You need to follow the weave pattern as it would be on the original sweater. Point 1 should have horizontal weaves not vertical in your replacement. (I am guessing you used the healing brush tool). Point 2 should have vertical weaves instead of diagonal.

- Point 3 is too dark. Detail is important.

Well done.

Re: Photomanipulation Design by alexxie(m): 11:17am On Apr 01, 2009
Thanks Mr. Soji, i can figure out weave pattern you talking abt, but i was only mindful of the detailz around the head
and the holes on the wrist of the sweater & lastly you ar right is too dark like u said.
thanks for your observations

@alexxie
I don't even know why you bother to answer Gamine - her comments are downright sarcastic!

Listen to Soji - he's a better judge of art!

As for me - I really don't get what happened around no. 3 region. undecided The second trial is good too by the way.

Keep it up!
Re: Photomanipulation Design by smartsoft(m): 2:56pm On Apr 01, 2009
quite intresting,
Re: Photomanipulation Design by sojioguns(m): 3:53pm On Apr 01, 2009
@ alexxie, The second attempt has a major flaw. As you can see in the original image, the major light source comes from the left ie the direction of the guy's face. The part you used to replace the inside of the jacket has an inappropriate lighting. For safety, you could have used a white material, afterall most jackets like that have a separate lining material (white). Match your lighting. It is the key to believable manipulation.
Re: Photomanipulation Design by alexxie(m): 8:59am On Apr 02, 2009
i am going to work on that next time
Thanks Soji
