We began with a question.

How can we reconcile the need to clean our vehicles that are so important to all of us with our aspiration to help make a cleaner, safer, and better planet for our future and for our children? The way we clean our cars hasn’t changed much since the late 1930s, when the first automatic car washes appeared. There have been some adjustments along the way, but that’s over 70 years without a major innovation to the industry! The way we wash our cars now wastes anywhere from 11.5 - 27.6 trillion gallons a year! And that’s not just water - it’s waste-water containing chemicals that are not friendly to our planet.

We wondered whether there was a way to clean our cars more effectively, efficiently and more environmentally? Or better yet, was there a way to make the entire process more convenient? Easier? Without compromising any level of quality?

OUR SOLUTION WAS TO USE STEAM.
