Manchester United are hoping to complete the signing of Gareth Bale in the final 72 hours of the transfer window, according to reports. United have been keen on Bale for the last 18 months but the Welshman has always insisted that he’s keen to stay with Real Madrid. However, the Daily Mirror says the Red Devils have been encouraged by Bale falling victim to Real boo boys and hope they can sign him in the last 72 hours of the transfer window. United would be happy to pay up to £95million to sign Bale – a fee which would make him a world record signing.
