You are still here dreaming.

Where will you run to now? The prognosis is not looking good really.

It seems the dullard is even using style to give up and admitting his lack of capacity. Imagine he is calling on the ELITES for assistance. The same elites he has been smearing?

Nigeria not a rich country – Buhari http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/nigeria-not-a-rich-country-buhari/

How will you his disciples do it now? No money; the treasury is 'virtually empty'; the country is not rich, and now it's looking like American is not 'willing' to 'help' trace and release the 'looted' $150bn with them, even though they have 'given' the list and the account numbers to Adams Oshiomhole.

How will you guys have your monthly N5000 now?

As an Irishman I have little love for the British (perfidious Albion!) but to keep blaming them even after 55 years is stupid.

Nigeria's problems today are of her OWN making and the solutions are obvious!

Corruption - Tribalism - Superstition.

You speak of APC taking people for a ride? I hope you spoke out as much during the last 16 years of looting and 'graft'! I hope you spoke out as much while 10's of thousands of voters were BLATENTLY AND FLAGRENTLY disenfranchised in Rivers State in full view of the International Community. Was your voice heard in condemnation when Orobebe disgraced himself and every Nigerian by his actions in attempting to derail the legitimate processes of election.

Lets face it all the criticism is simply the PDP lackeys crying like little spoilt babies because their side lost and was exposed for what it was.

But instead of facing this problem its easier to blame it on foreigners 99% of whom neither know or care about you!

So this guy does not believe in looted funds? The totally honest PDP regime did not rip off the country for the last 16 years? Where has he been living? Which Nigeria?

When you are used to democratic changes of government and how the world actually works you will realise that even in the west (used to normal changes of power) it takes at least two years for a government to progress beyond the policies put in place even by a honest predecessor in power for 4 years. This government must contend with 16 years of corruption.

Have this discussion in a reasonable and realistic timeline!

Welcome to democracy!
Welcome to the real world!

(100 days - what mumu would expect that to be a realistic timescale? OH - a mumu who did not believe corruption was rampant in
Nigeria - obviously!) cheesy

Is that not why they appoint those who will assist them in time in order not to waste time unnecessarily?

Are you adjusting the 'timescale' to two year now?

We will wait it out. Any amount of time you need you must have it so you won't give any excuse that time was what you lacked.

If you like give a hundred year 'timescale'. We are here.

This means that modern leaders should desist from promising heaven on earth during electioneering campaign. Based on his promises during election, I was convinced that he Knows solutions to myriad of problems confronting us. But, immediately he was sworn in, we were made to understand he needs time to study Nigerians and Nigerian wahala.

On the issue under discussion, USA will not cooperate to bring any looted money back. Reason: it looks to the eyes of the world that they America are encouraging money laundering and help in impoverishing 3rd world countries. Secondly, if those monies are pulled out from their economy just like that, Those companies that the said monies are sustaining will collapse and it would let to some American citizens losing their jobs. It ll not benefit them in ways if they collaborate with Nigeria.

Hardly, can you jail anybody without evidence. So america might not provide the evidence. Locally, top civil servants might not provide evidence because they benefited from the loot. They are not saved if that evidences are available because it will implicate them. They are destroying the evidence right now. The necessary papers and softcopies of some documents are going fia fia inside fire or virus is attacking some computers now. This is real world

view this spoken word: "THE CHANGE WE WANT"...A message from a concerned citizen to Muhammadu Buhari to logically prove that he is a product of necessity. It also unravels the insincerity behind the people's clamour for change.

They need to select the people carefully! Look at what happened last time. A well intentioned (I believe) President was let down badly by the people he surrounded himself with and corruption ran even more rampant than before! Hopefully Buhari will choose better rather than be rushed by the rant of 'losers;.

As for two years I am speaking of what is normal before significant results of any kind are seen in any change of developed world governments.

The looted funds will be recovered I am sure, but it will be an ongoing process. We shall see a trickle at first then a lot and then a trickle again as most is recovered. Of course some will never be recovered but hopefully this will be minimal.

I am glad you are prepared to wait and are not like the absolute ignorant morons expecting miracles within 100 days! grin

They wet never ready to assist us in the first place...mind you, most of these political criminals invested heavily in U.S,creating jobs and boosting their economy so why on earth do we expect them to recover those funds..the amount of looted funds that Nigerians invested in U.S real estate in heavy too so I wonder if US will demolish those houses or ship them back to Nigeria.IT WILL TAKE A VERY LONG TIME,the ambassador said, which means that it's never going to happen.

We know it's hard, but we're expecting PMB to do d magic like he promised.

To begin with, the West have no interest in returning money stashed away with them. They only give mere token back to maintain their high horse position.

How can GMB keep his promise? Abacha was not corrupt GMB said. Despite about $1billion Abacha loot aready returned from Switzerland under OBJ & Jonathan.

If Abacha wasn't corrupt, how can his money be sent back? Certainly, other corrupt people now in APC camp will also become saints. So no money to refund. The only vendetta is against Jonathan and his regime. And that APC blindness to all other corrupt regimes including IBB's & OBJ's means they are hypocritical jokers, with SW & the North playing owners of Nigeria, who can only deal with "inconsequential minorities".

That hypcrisy will ultimately rubbish the anti-corruption grandstanding of APC/GMB. You cannot ride to power surrounded by lootocratic governors & ex-governors, using their billions of Naira to fund campaign and be serious about fighting corruption. You cannot come to equity with filty hands stinking to high heavens. shocked

No money was looted from Nigeria, its all about Buhari and APC making NOICE so that Nigerians will think they are working. It's all about wanting to rubbish Gej's administration. It's all about victimization and vendetta, especially on campaign spoils and name calling .Its all about disgracing some few people under GEJ. Repeat, no money is missing. If missing bring it out.

Your Fathers before you died not knowing what it feels like to witness electricity 50 yrs straight without a single second of interruption, they lacked quality education, healthcare, jobs etc Basically, overall, they lived a life of chaos in a jungle like society. I know thats what you know and thats what you're used to, but, please don't let that be your lot. Theres more to life, trust me. And its way easier than the hardship which you and your likes insist on digging your future generation into.

Re: It’s Difficult To Recover Nigeria’s Stolen Money Stashed Abroad —US Ambassador by mensdept: 5:10am On Aug 24, 2015
See, those calling Nigeria a ZOO are in fact CORRECT. $61 to $150 billion stashed abroad, money that is helping developed countries develop more and provide better roads and scholarships and healthcare for their people.

Yet our leaders not only stash that money abroad that enriches DEVELOPED countries, they will turn around and buy expensive cars and private jets from those DEVELOPED countries, homes in those DEVELOPED countries, fly on airlines based in DEVELOPED countries, spend thousands on hotels and car rentals in DEVELOPED countries, buy clothes and tailored suits from DEVELOPED countries, go to hajj or Xmas (or for some Yoruba both) shopping in DEVELOPED countries, vacationing in DEVELOPED countries, giving birth to pikin in DEVELOPED countries for pale purposes, go to hospital for treatment and pay full out of pocket price in DEVELOPED countries and on and on.

So in short, we are stealing from our nation to give the money back to those who came and said we were area N.iggas aka NIGERIANS

My friend, I'm taking no body serious in this govt because so far it has proved to be a huge joke and charade. A so called clean man of integrity who cannot a pass a test as basic as fulfilling his campaign promise of public asset declaration cannot be taken seriously by any adult with his senses intact. Only tribal bigots and party loyalists can overlook such mega-scam.

In addition, you cannot claim to be fighting corruption when you surround yourself with known corrupt people. Charity they say begin at home

Lolz.., very different from the information Buhari and APC have been feeding their gullible supporters with. Going by the propaganda, one would think the trillions of dollars, allegedly looted and stashed abroad, will be recovered and culprits imprisoned in a matter of days. That is even if there is any looted fund stashed abroad.

In other words, we're saddled with a govt that is on a wild goose chase, and this is a govt that will hit the 100 days mark in a few days, no cabinet, no project initiated or continued, no policy, no programme, no achievement and no direction, with confusion reigning supreme. Everything is on autopilot from the way it was left by the last administration.

Govt of propaganda, by propaganda and for propaganda! Govt of body language and fear of Buhari. Yeye dey smell.
And they promised the Ministry of Women Affairs that it will be funded with the recovered looted monies. This means that they have a long long time to wait. Pity!

While I have some trust for the US when it comes to telling the truth, am sure they, the US has deviate in this case that it is difficult to retrieve those monies in their banks. It simply means the US do not know who Buhari is. Most likely, the US has not known the BODY languahe of the dunce call Buhari. Going by the ALMIGHTY BODY language of Buhari, in fact the strongest ex. military man, a Fulani man and the dullest president of our time, will be able to find and retrieve these monies where ever the monies are. I trust Buhari, as far as his BODY languages is concerned, no two ways. Foolish people.

When Bishop Kukah was trying to speak sense, stupid, ignorant, brainless Buharists were coming here to rain insults on the man. Buhari can spend the next 4 years chasing stolen money he'll only meet with failure. That's the reality of things. He should focus on putting strucures and personal in place to ensure that going forward theses type of things do not happen again, and by all means where there is evidence prosecute those that he can, but DO NOT make chasing looted funds the be all and end all.
