busycollins:I don't work with ace but based on my experience with them I believe they only get back to you when you scale through to the next stage. If you didn't get a feedback from them after an interview it probably because you didn't pass the interview. I had to mail them after three weeks requesting for my interview results before they told me I didn't scale through. But my friend made it to the last stage in no time. He jus needs to see the ceo to discuss salary arrangements that's why he needs the information. Thank you. |

Any serious minded person should just not bother to apply for this job, I was told they recruit everyday and they keep wasting your time telling u to come back every 2 weeks from round 1 interview to round 3. They simply do not have any vacancy, if u doubt what I'm saying just go to their website and apply now, they will call u immediately and keep wasting ur time and little resources. I just wish to give this info to assist people not to waste their little resources on this useless company. A word is enough 1 Like |

hrace: I put it to you that you are a liar, why do u derive pleasure in making people unhappy by wasting their limited resources and time, u keep asking people to come and write test everyday, which serious company does that? Pls stop wasting people ' s time, I will ensure that I report ur company to federal ministry of Labour for this wicked acts. Stop inflicting pains on young people 2 Likes |

Yinkababa: Word of advice to anyone looking for a job - stay well away from anything fronted by any of those ex-Jumia guys. Whether it is ACE or Supermart or that new online bank that the two ACE guys are launching - stay well away! First of all, they are time wasters who are ALWAYS recruiting. If you are unfortunate enough to actually get a job at any of these places, your problems are just beginning. They have opening times, but no closing times. You can't leave the office before oga even if it is 6.30pm. But you must resume by that 8.30am unfailingly. You will have no defined job description - you can find yourself inside a warehouse stacking packages or behind a Chicken Republic counter. There is zero internal structure and the pay is as average as average can get. They even still delay your pay sometimes, and their salary calendar is funny - payment in the middle of the month instead of at the end, so that people will not resign apparently. The working environment is also toxic and very political, which is what you expect anywhere there is low morale and no job security. Everyone wants to do eye service for oga and backstab you if possible to get ahead. People are always resigning and if you manage to stay for 6 months, you will likely be one of the "senior" employees there because the turnover is absolutely ridiculous. Those ex-Jumia guys are what HR people call "Professional professionals". They specialise in padding their cvs with big titles and descriptions which they use to land big positions or capture investor confidence when raising capital for their endless retinue of "startups". Jumia CEO today, ACE co-founder tomorrow, Supermart CEO the day after that... Just stay away and get an actual job except you are fresh from school and you need something on your cv. 6 Likes 1 Share |

I agree with the general observations that have been made here already. ACE is a bad organisation, salary, culture etc. Recruitment that occurs so regularly is a symptom of a disease in this case "An organisation that clearly does not give a darn about employees". Behind every rumour is an element of truth - and having gone through their process, and making my observations you can expect the following: - A salary that is below industry average. - A culture that won't allow you to grow. - Watch your back environment. - It's a job you do and you keep searching for others. i.e. you shouldnt work at this place for more than a year..' I went through the whole process- i found the tests, interview easy. But I would never respect an offer from there. I can already see they do not respect employees. In fact, the owners are professional professionals. 3 Likes |

Hi guys! Just got a job offer from ACE recently. Don't even bother with them please. The pay is crap, less than 55k a month, you might be required to work weekends and the work contract came with another companies name . I think its time we stopped looking for jobs and started creating them.I mean i have a job now but during my own days i spent 2 invaluable years searching and searching and i really regret it now. I could have started something. I know its not easy in a country like ours with cash, power, lack of support but it starts with a dream. I hope this helps all the people on this thread asking about ACE. Forget them, they are not serious at all. 3 Likes |

Very rubbish firm. Everything said here is true. What kind of company will invite 20pipo for interview? And at the end we were asked to wait without reasons, after waiting 4 some minutes one fellow came out to say none of us passed. It's a crazy place. I barely comment but for this I had to. Pipo shud run away 4rm them. Don't be carried away by the environment, it's a rubbish culture. 1 Like |
