The Event Management and Decoration Training will prepare you to enter the profession with an understanding of the industry. You'll build a foundation that you can use to build a career in events or start your own special event business.

Upon successful completion of the Event Management and Decoration program, you’ll:

*Understand the stages of event management: Consultation, planning and coordination
*Understand how to manage time effectively
*Learn how to manage human resources and volunteers
*Have insight into hiring vendors like caterers, DJ/band photographers and everything you need for a successful event
*Learn how to conduct event site inspection
*Learn about necessary contracts and agreement between you and you clients and between you and vendors
*Understand budgeting, pricing, as they relate to event design
*Be able to apply the principles of design to event decoration and effectively use flowers, fabric, lighting, ribbons, balloons and more

This program is split up into two modules: Event Management and Event Design / Decoration. Each module includes multiple units complete with interactive presentations. You'll learn about the practicalities of planning events and the dazzle of designing them.
