 Pop duo PSquare are currently in thanksgiving mode after escaping a car accident unscathed yesterday. The scary incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday (Aug. 30), on the Lagos-Ibadan Express Way as the group and their entourage were driving back to Lagos from Ibadan where they had performed at a show the night before. According to Peter, “a Lorry hit their maroon Range Rover, dragging it along the road for over 12 seconds” The accident left the front windows of the SUV completely smashed in as it was taken away from the scene of the accident by the tow truck. Thankfully everyone in the car came out unscathed. See photos from the car crash scene after the jump Also in the car with them was P-Square band drummer & dancer Kaffy’s hubby – Papii J Ameh as well as the group’s assistant manager – Wandoskie. Peter took to his Instagram page to send praises up for sparing them. He wrote, Fans pls help us thank God. Myself @rudeboypsquare@papiijameh and our assistant manager@wandoskie had an accident early hours of today on our way back from a show in ibadan. Along lagos ibadan express road. A Lorry hit and dragged us for over 12 seconds. But Our Lord and Our God is always faithful and quick to show Mercy. Thank God we survived.#ThankYouLord His Twin Paul also did the same, writing Thank u guys for your prayers…..We thank God for protecting us from the car accident early this morning, we re fine, presently in Abuja for the KING OF POP CONCERT..,,God bless u all….. ndnuray: Yea I can see that, But was the lorry moving at 5km/hr, cos I know the damage a lorry at more than that speed would cause to a rover |
