This your thread calls for a solemn reflection of what we believe as a people and the general attitude of the people towards the leadership.

The APC sold Nigerians a dummy and every Tom,Dick and Harry across the geopolitical zones of this country believed in it or partially believed in it but again they should have been wiser to know that the moment a supposedly good man starts wining and dining with thieves and looters then there must be a connection or someone is simply using someone to achieve his dreams and aspirations. But I put it to you that if not for the colossal waste and absolute nonchalant attitude of the PDP ,Nigerians wouldn't have listened to Buhari and his bunch of criminals that he rode on their backs to mount the stool of leadership just to propagate his islamaofacist ideology and egocentric nature.
The PDP had it all but greed , selfishness and highhandedness brought them to where they are right now - It is just unfortunate that at a point when the most evil party lost power was a time when one good man was around in the person of Jonathan - But again when your family has a bad name it rubs on every child that is born into that household irrespective of his or her natural mindset and outlook towards life.
Nigerians will pay for our impatient nature which was totally necessary at the time we became impatient and that doesn't change the fact that Buhari is a mistake.

Whynotthetruth:
In an interview granted to Thisday Newspapers, National chairman of APC did allude to the lopsided nature of President Buhari's appointment but in the course of this made a grave statement; which should get every sane Nigerian worried about the future of this country.

Hear APC Chairman here; "The appointments made so far are personal staff members of the president. And it is his prerogative to make those appointments.” http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/odigie-oyegun-henceforth-apc-will-be-more-involved-in-fg-appointments/218888/

So many questions come to mind here;

1)Is APC chairman per chance insinuating that INEC, Custom boss, AGF, Immigration boss, etc are now personal staff of Buhari?

2)Does it mean that we are about to experience conversion of government to family affair as is the case in Lagos, Kwara, and some of other states?

3)Is it not worrisome that most of Buhari's appointment came from his region(North-West) & his wife's region (Northeast)?

4)Doesn't it portend serious threat to workers morale as their career growth is hindered by Buhari's penchant for appointing outsider's to head agencies and organizations of government like DSS, Customs etc?

5)If the Chairman, is saying that they would henceforth get involved in Buhari's appointment; does it mean they wanted to see if Nigerians would keep quiet or otherwise before becoming sensitive to the diversity of the country?...Remember, APC waited too for public outcry from people including their chief consultant; ,Obasanjo before killing the idea of Muslim/Muslim ticket.

Aside that, we hear more ridiculous and irresponsible statement credited to Lai Mohammed of APC who said because former President Jonathan/PDP looted the country blind hence they can't fulfill their campaign promises. http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/jonathan-is-the-reason-we-cant-give-school-kids-1-free-meal-or-pay-n5-000-monthly-apc.116781/

1)Does it mean that APC and Buhari were carelessly making statements during elections without ascertaining what exactly is the situation of the country with regard to our economy notwithstanding the FOI law which APC states like Lagos, Oyo etc refused to domesticate and are fighting same in court?

2)Was oil price not down when they made those promises?

3)Having denied ALL their campaign promises now, aren't they telling Nigerians to expect nothing or manage whatever we see at best?

4)Isn't their action now indicative of the fact that ALL they wanted was power and not any good governance to Nigeria?

5)Was Buhari elected president to gallivant and enjoy protocols or solve problems where there is one and proffer solutions where challenges exist instead of boring us with blames and excuses daily?...Maybe Buhari need to study how Bill Clinton & Barack Obama behaved who both came at a time of great economic challenge in America.

6)Is Buhari/APC already dishing out reasons for failure or mediocrity governance in the next few years having observed that ALL Jonathan did while in government is what they are replicating, and seeking to take glory for from backdoor hence the body language slogan, since they are bereft of new & better ideas?

7)Since when did media blackmail, media prosecution and conviction in court of public opinion; as well as character assassination of individuals amount to corruption fight in the dictionary of APC and Bubari?

8.)Isn't it a pointer that they(APC) and Buhari lack credibility and are bereft of ideas hence instead of unearthing facts cum evidences to prosecute corrupt officials they subject ALL perceived opponents to media ridicule and conviction in the court of public opinion and encourage jungle justice as Oshiomole did?

9)If Jonathan/PDP stole Nigeria's money, why can't Buhari/APC stop making noise and recover same from them to fulfill their campaign promises to the masses?

In all, Buhari & APC should note that empty vessels make the most noise. And noisemakers achieve less, because they are never recollected in themselves to articulate any informed way of progression. When they do more talking, it follows like day the night that they would do less working. Alluding such improvements as in power, agricultural sector etc to body language smacks of childishness and reducing governance to mockery. I wonder which salary backlog Shehu Garba thinks Buhari is clearing... http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/189267-anti-corruption-war-is-non-negotiable-buhari-replies-jonathans-ministers.html

Sorry I had to quote everything because everything you wrote is on the money. We have been wondering. But I predicted this trend long ago. I told whoever wanted to hear that Tinubu and the rest would be sidelined and the Kano-Katsina axis will assume control. It happened with YarAdua not long ago. OBJ who installed him was sent to the trash can and UMYA went on like he was instructed to deconstruct anything OBJ left behind. They want power but have no idea what to do with power for the benefit of the people. The reason is that all the know about leadership is to be worshiped while they hand out crumbs to their followers without any effort to develop or make them have a mind if their own.

Well said. Every right thinking Nigerian should have asked same questions. Am beginning to loose confidence on this government that I believed in,making too much noise and giving several excuses not to have started accomplishing their promises to her citizens. We all know the country was in a mess,in fact that was the major reason most Nigerians opted for their 'change'. So why not spur into actions that will remedy the country than this unending noise and blames. APC led-government making us look deceived and without any plan for the country. Please we await policies, programs, developments etc that will better the lives of the masses. Time is ticking. . .

They shouted us down when we raised objection to their change mantra during election. They said we were tribalists and hated Nigeria. They said all we needed was a change regardless of the direction, they cared not whether it's positive or negative.

When Buhari was called for media debate to tell us his plans he avoided it and his supporters hailed him today we are told he promised nothing so we should expect nothing other than his body language.

Where is king Buhari's asset declaration and that of his Pastor VP? What has become of the "man of integrity" APC sold to us? Can somebody tell me exactly what the difference is between Buhari and every other politician?

Am proudly 5%, I have no expectations from our Daura king thus I can never be disappointed.

Jonathan is not from Southeast and isn't Igbo while Buhari is from Northwest and an Hausa/Fulani

Jonathan's first appointment weren't just balanced but very fair.

Do you know that a section of the country wouldn't be represented in Security meetings in PMB Government?

Do you know what balance is all about? Tell me which Team (Security, Political, Economy, Academics etc.) that was lopsided in GEJ Administration?

What more can I say, GEJ built 65 Almajiri schools and 10 Universities in Northern Nigeria to support Education.

Buhari just downgraded Alvan Ikoku University, Owerri back to College of Education.

Remember, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufai was GEJ's Minister for Education.

so he downgraded a uni back to college of education?? this man must be a real tribal bigot

. Every Nigerian knows corruption has been instituted since 1805 and GEJ tried fighting it but he couldn't in totality and he was termed weak. But the institutions he created to fight corruption should not be discarded because it will make them start all over again and as you know,APC has just 4yrs to prove their manifestos. They should stop the propaganda but continue with the nation building blueprint left by the last dispensation if they couldn't come up with one for 100 days.

You're right.

From every indication, APC and Buhari were not prepared for the business of governance rather they were tutored in the art and crafts of opposition politics.

No wonder after three months in government and five months after winning elections, they are still unable to articulate or chat a new line of course for the country having condemned the policies of Jonathan's administration.

I sometimes begin to wonder what would've become of this country had Jonathan's administration withheld the handover documents and behaved like Amaechi in Rivers State.

It will do APC administration good to continue with Goodluck Jonathan's policies until they can come up with their socialist blueprint and policies having jettisoned the manifesto that brought them to power.

In summary, I believe Nigeria is in a relay race and our elected governments are our team hence it is unbecoming of a team player to blame a team member as soon as the baton is handed over to him while the race has not been won or consummated. I will prefer Buhari having collected the baton should speed the race and see if Nigeria can be on the medal table after which the blame game and investigations can be launched in full gear.

The APC is presently working with Jonathan's policies and following his recommendations religiously.

I recall when former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan anounced that Nigeria needed the cooperation of neighbouring countries to fight Boko Haram whose operations transcends borders, Buhari / APC called him names and said he was clueless. But that was Buhari's first assignment upon resumption of office.

The only thing I like about Buhari is sincerity. While his party men are busy ascribing Jonathan's achievements in power, agricultural sector etc to him, Buhari shocked them by declaring that they were the manifestations of GEJ'S efforts, as he was yet to start working.

People like you are the reason why propaganda still gets Nigerian politicians the votes they need.

There must have been some elements of corruption during GEJ's tenure, yet we must sincerely acknowledge, he strengthened institutions in his bid to end corruption. Little wonder programmes like the Agricultural Transformation that ended years of corruption in the fertilizer distribution became a case study in most African countries.

If you presently do not see anything terribly wrong in the APC's present style, you are a terrible enemy of the State and you are one of those reasons Nigeria may never rise above mediocrity.

Maybe you will love to read through this article written forth night ago by me...An excerpt reads;"In fight against corruption; It should be noted here, that I am an apostle of Jonathan's proactive measure as shown in his yam & goat analogy as against Buhari's reactive measure of jail policy. Has armed robbery ended with all the jail terms meted to them? Why would treasury looting be any different? I am a candidate of Jonathan's school of thought that believes in building strong institutions as against Buhari's or APC knack for strong individuals. I believe just like Jonathan/PDP that Nigeria's challenge is more in the structure as against Buhari/APC's belief that it is in the faces. Those are my creed.

https://www.nairaland.com/2546529/how-corrupt-jonathan

You are doing your best to sound like an intellectual but your logic is out of this world. So, since jail terms have not stopped armed robbers, looters should not be jailed and, of course, looting should continue. This certainly explains GEJ's mindset. Thanks for reminding us.

It is convenient for you to see the south as SW, SS and SE, But see the North as only North. If it was right for GeJ to have skipped a geopolitical Zone in the North, then it is rigth for PMB to skip a geopolitical zone in the South.
If it was right for GEJ to appoint SSG and COS from SS and SE, then it is right for PMB to appoint Them from NE/NC.
If it was right for GEJ to also appoint Minister of finance, works, Aviation, Agriculture, Power from the South, then I would not criticise PMB if he choose to appoint them from the North.
Though I am from the SOUTH SOUTH, I am Not a Hypocrite. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
do you know that by the above comment you have accented that PMB is running a majorly northern administration and the list in question does not reflect a balance among the major diversities existing in Nigeria
