Here we go again. The same question I keep asking is what is a dangerous animal like this doing in a residential environment. The only problem I have is if these guys go to their natural habitat and start killing them. Moreover, how many snake experts are out there. I pray you wont encounter a python, let me see if your first reaction will be to run or kill it or to capture it.

These animals will always wonder away from their area just humans expand their settlement. A hippo was killed sometime ago in Gombe state or so for the same usual excuse of wandering off their area. So are you saying killing every animal that wanders off their area is the ultimate solution? That means every animal in Nigeria will be going extinct soon cos these animals will keep wandering and getting killed.
Since we don't have a wild life rescue team in Nigeria it all depends on where the snake was found. If it was found in a residential area then it should be killed. But if it was found around a Bush and non populated area then it should be left alone.
