Founded in the mid-17th century, Ogbomoso is an ancient city in Oyo State, southwestern Nigeria. Also regarded as an urban center for culture, majority of its people are members of the Yoruba ethnic group.

The city balances its past, present and future in a way rarely managed by few other towns and the result has been a place with preserved cultural pursuits. Ogbomoso offers endless activities and is a magnet for anyone who enjoys the great authenticity as it has a spectacular mix of people, religions, culture and landscapes. Your journey through this mind-stirring town will blaze in your memory long after you have left its shores. Jovago.com shares unveils more.
