At a point i almost changed to pounds with aboki and transfer the tuition fee to my school directly as that was a cheaper option at that point.

No, i haven't heard anything nor have i been contacted by ukvi.

Concerning lectures starting before the visa is granted i really don't know how to go about that because different schools have varying levels of "grace" that can be granted in situations like this.

In extreme situations the admission might just have to be deferred, however, we hope it wouldn't get to that. You should keep your school in the loop and constantly update them about the situation of things. I too had my interview since the 10th of July yet i have heard nothing.

In the end we can only wait as we are at the mercy of the UK Government.

thanks again @thonybayo, i am just overthinking and scared but by Gods grace we will all receive good news soon and i hope by friday something will come up and if not i will put a call through to them. will keep you update and please let me know too once good news turns up.

I did my biometrics on the 21st July at Ikeja.

Yes let's give them till Monday. It might be the paperless visa processing that is cause this delay ooh..Schools will soon start resuming oh

good evening @ajoke007 , happy you have got a response from them , but please kindly let us know when u applied and where , because a lot of us here applied since mid july and had our interview at the ikeja VAC and havent gotten any response from ukvi and our course start dates are soon. so please did you call them or email them before getting this emai and did you use priority.

please let us know, the worry and tension is real abeg.

Biometrics on July 21. Standard. I didn't send enquiry. Ideally today should around the 15th working day so I think it's an autogenerated mass mail.

I have gone past worrying. I am on the waiting game. Today is my 30th working day after biometrics and still no decision mail.
