Chelsea supporters have been given a sneak
peek of what to expect when the club's new
stadium is completed in 2020.

The Blues hope to begin work on Stamford
Bridge - work which will involve extensive
demolition and reconstruction - at the end of
this season.

A model of the redevelopment plans went on
display at Stamford Bridge earlier today.

Club chairman Roman Abramovich plans to
finance the deal out of his back pocket in a
venture separate from Chelsea FC business.

Chelsea will play at Stamford Bridge for the
remainder of this season and next but would
have to move to a temporary home for three
seasons from the beginning of the 2017-18
campaign as the stadium is rebuilt.

The Blues are expected to play at Wembley for
three seasons between 2017 and 2020.
When redevelopment work is completed,
Stamford Bridge is expected to hold over 60,000
people.
