A consulting firm based in V.I Lagos is in need of the services of a
Sales/Business development executive. The Sales/Business Development officer is
to boost sales, develop and generate new business opportunities and also support
the business development department. This department is responsible for the
acquisition of new projects and project bids.

Qualifications
• B.Sc degree in Business Studies, management or relevant field. (MBA would be
an added advantage)
• Extensive experience in a relevant field.
• 2 yrs of relevant experience with the consulting industry ( a plus)
• Good experience from having worked in a service sales related role.

• Ability to implement marketing strategies and actions to influence the market
• Proactively develop and improve products and services
• Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues
• Understands clients' needs and sales requirements
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients
• Ability to work using a structured sales framework

Tasks
• Achieve set sales targets and implement strategies
• Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for all
proposals
• Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
• Maintain the Business Development databases
• Support marketing activities, including trade, mailings, etc.
• Initiate new sales contacts
