Sun Mingming and his wife Xu Yan with a combined height of 423.47 cm (13 feet and 10.72 inches), 236.16 cm and 187.3 cm, respectively, have been awarded the title of the tallest married couple in the world. The Chinese nationals were recognized by the Guinness World Record 2016, published on Wednesday.

Sun, 33, a basketball player, and Xu, 29, a professional handball player, got married in August, 2013, and their advice to young couples is to understand that nobody is perfect. All one can do, they say, is supporting each other.
