Abegi, u can check d DE admission list and Utme crossover list n tell me if d ratio of admission is 75:25( 75% for DE n 25% for utme)......its just for medicine that they took more DE than utme( even though utme students still have 18 more slots to fill since 72Students ( because they couldnt increase d cutoff further as they all got d highest point attainable)were taken frm DE n 60 frm utme( medicine quota is 150), dont know y d sch didn't take up to 78 MBBS students......But for other medical courses more utme students were taken( abt 30 or more)........Another exam as been introduced for jupeb medical students to crossover to CMUL( they don't want a situation whereby 100 jupeb students for MBBS gets 16points n they'll hav no choice but to admit all of them for MBBS just like what happened last year which may lead to taking just 50 MBBS students from utme, so this exam will b used to screen some of them out).......IN A situation whereby d number of students that met d cutoff used in d past are more than d quota, d cutoff willl have to b increased( just like what's happening now), although 50:50:50 was ok in d past but nt now.....so they had to use CGPA to screen some of them out.......( though they've been complaining d cutoff was/is too high even though they used 3.00 for some courses n even 2.4-2.8 for others apart frm medicine which is 4.11) d cut off was based on d number of students to b taken.....EG, nursing,d cut off was a CGPA of 3.02 which is d CGPA of d last person on d list..., For medicine that 4.11 was d CGPA of d 60th person taken on d list...

I heard JAMB released some results this week.The person should re-check and if same,go to nearest JAMB office around.

You'd buy this years DE form which I think is already out......you'll apply with awaiting jupeb result...... Get the form Asap n also meet ur coordinator for instructions on how to go abt it

Its a probability.... you may be lucky to be given another course....but don't expect a course in College of medicine.....But don't be pessimistic, you've not even done the post-utme exam yet

You might get a course at Faculty of Science or get NO COURSE at all.So don't dream 66 aim 80.

Firstly theDE form is from jamb and not unilag....... The scratch card is N5000 and u can get it from Zenith Bank or any jamb office n also FCMB

DE exams are conducted by the school and not jamb.......And unilag does not conduct any exam for DE students......So you'll just by d form to register ur name n details and also to get your jamb Reg number which is very important, you'll submit a copy of the E-slip and photocopy of ur O'level result to jamb office , the admissions office at senate building (unilag) and to ur faculty..... That's all...N u wait for the admission list.....But for those not using awaiting jupeb result, they'll submit a copy of their previous degree certificate ( A'level, B.Sc, NCE, etc) together with those documents
