Tried it on two different lines. On one of them, it was just like the OP says, but on the other one, they offered me at 30naira per week. I tried it on the 2nd line and made sure I had just 30 naira on it before doing so and it worked. They gave a bonus of just 960 to call MTN numbers. Let's see what happens when the 960 exhausts cos it goes down fast. Imagine a 10secs call taking 4naira from it.

I'm on ipulse on both lines. And to update, I exhausted the 960 naira bonus but I'm still able to make calls to MTN numbers. Let's see if it will indeed last for 7 days as they said.

Sure works... On my third renewal now at 50 naira a week. Though it's not eligible on all lines.

pls whats the subscription code you used for that?

Mtn knows what I will do to them that's why they said I m not eligible, I for plug d phone for light if light go I switch to powerbank .I go call until their base station explode

Update 1. Mine has finally been exhausted. I checked the number of minutes I spent on calls and the total came to around 80mins. If that's the unlimited MTN to MTN calls, then they must be seriously joking. Or was I supposed to manage it for 7 days or what? MTN and their funny promos.

Update 2. Mine resumed agiain the next day. I will still test it to see if I were still given the 80mins or less.

I am a beneficiary. But it actually depends on your usage as not all sims are considered.

I noticed that lines that are less active on the network are usually considered above those that are more active.

For instance, only one of my two lines which are both on Truetalk+ plan was considered while the other was not.

The other was placed on the second promo with three options to choose from.

1. You get 3 times the value for calls when you load N1,500 which is N4,500 for 7days (may not necessarily have to only be for MTN to MTN calls)

2. You get 500mb for N500 for 30 days for data only.

3. You get 50mins of call to some international destinations for N500 @100/min for 7 days.

You Can only choose one of the three options. Depending on which one best suits your need.

MTN non suffer at all. all na strategy to get buku pipo to dey call mtn nos. The strategy is to make more revenue from mtn calls than calling other networks especially has NCC has halted them to charge flat rates all networks, they had to strategies. Sorry to say but these South Africa companies have good marketers that they know how to stimulate demand. Unlike our indigenous operators that are not innovative, changes package anyhow, e.t.c
