Calling on the Nigerian Ambassador to France, please do the honourable thing and RESIGN.

In my opinion it is an embarassment (National) that the machine used for printing Nigerian passports in a country like France would breakdown for two months.

Furthermore, i find it hard to understand how the Ambassador can be comfortable about this (evidenced by the links above where John Utaka cannot obtain a new passport to enable him join the National team in Lesotho). I can only imagine the plight of the average Nigerian in France needing any for of diplomatic assistance.

I stand corrected but this gives an indication of the level of service offered. Mr Ambassador in France in the era we are moving into and the direction we are hoping for our beloved country such laxity cannot be tolerated, so i call on you all to join me in asking him to resign.

John Utaka's hopes of playing for Nigeria in this weekend's Nations Cup qualifier in Lesotho have been hit by a passport snag.

The France-based forward will not be able to play in Sunday's Group 3 clash for the unusual reason that his passport does not have enough free pages.

"I applied for the South Africa visa and was asked to come up with a new passport because my existing one is fully stamped," the 24-year-old told BBC Sport.

"I travelled to the Nigerian Embassy in Paris to get a new one but was told that the machine that produces it has been broken for two months."
