Ulefone Power gets its first OTA update

After being in the OEM business for a while, Ulefone only really stepped up on their self-branded phones about a year and a half back. Since then, they’ve come a long way to become an often-discussed brand here on GizChina.



Big-battery phones are the craze right now, and Ulefone have a candidate of their own in the Ulefone Power. Speaking of the Power, the phone just got its first OTA update.

The update — identified with20160129 — doesn’t really bring any new features to the Ulefone Power, but solves some existing issues. For example, the 20160129 update fixes the malfunctioning LED notification light and wrong CPU information that’s displayed on CPU-Z.

“Ulefone promise to release at least one update per month for Ulefone Power until it satisfies most users”

Besides the update, another promise that comes from Ulefone today, in their own words: “Ulefone promise to release at least one update per month for Ulefone Power until it satisfies most users.”

Not bad, eh?

Let’s wait and see if they deliver. Meanwhile, check your Ulefone Power handsets for the OTA notification. And as usual try to have battery levels over 50% and a strong WiFi signal before attempting to upgrade!

Na wa o, maybe I should have ordered from gearbest and choose free shipping. At least I'll not complain if it takes long to arrive. Unlike Kulimart that charged me #1700 for shipping and I'm yet to see my order! What a bitter experience!

We will ship your order on Monday, same to other customers who pre-ordered, we ship on Monday because our logistics company work only on weekdays.

Remember it was clearly stated on the product page that the phone is on pre-order. You don't have to be annoyed because of the shipping cost, it's not our fault nor we are happy about the rate. The money goes for the shipping company not us. Pls don't compare us with others because of shipping cost, because you can't compare China infrastructure to that in Nigeria.

The shipping cost is for doorstep delivery.

The said person pre-ordered the phone. We do not have it in stock when the order was placed and He's aware it's pre-order which takes a little time. Due to unforeseen circumstances there was a little delay from China which made us not to meet up with 10 days time frame.

He was told it will be shipped today and it has been shipped.
