It seems like you are playing this game very late. I once had 68million coins but did charity a bit and now I have 35million coins. And I got any players you could think of. Any players from major leagues. With some special cards like totw, tots, KO, tott, etc. I didn't spend a dime.

Offline season division is easy now but only division 1 if you play Ultimate league where you are playing all clubs legendary. Won it a couple times.

I've won it couple of times too.

I tried La Liga in offline division one, can't even win 2 matches. Too tough.

Any cards different in colors apart from Gold, Silver and bronze be it rare or none rare, they are special cards. It may be in form of Informs (black in color. Check Iniesta from screenshot) also know as Team of the week (totw), team of the season (check Suarez) also known as (tots) futties, ttot, knock out (KO) (maroon) etc all these cards carry different colors and all the cards are stopped now that EA decided to neglect the update for FIFA 16.

Team of the Season (TOTS) - Blue Cards.
Team of the Year (TOTY) - Blue black Cards.
Man of the Match Cards (MOTM) – Orange Cards.

Best time is late. No special cards at the moment. Maybe when EA decides to update the game. Right now, just gather coins and buy your favourite players but if you have half a million coins, you can gamble with pack opening n player exchange maybe you can get lucky to have your favorite players
