Eid Ul Adha or Zuha, a Muslim festival celebrated as greater eid in the Muslim/Islamic month of Zulhijjah on its 10th day. The meaning of eid ul adha is feast of sacrifice. Eid al adha is celebrated to pay homage to Ibrahim (or Abraham) a true man of Allah who follows Allah's command to sacrifice his own son for him. But when he is going to sacrifice his son Ishmail Allah stopped him to do so and provide him with a sheep (lamb) to sacrifice. That is why eid ul adha is also known as eid qurban or Bakra eid. This festival marks the end of Hajj pilgrimage. The festival after Hajj Pilgrimage is over.
