Working with the Igbo primary colours - Red – Uhie; Orange - Oroma/uhiedo; Yellow – Edo; Green - Ndu Ndu; Blue – Anunu; Purple – Ugo; Pink - Uhie ocha; Brown – Uri; Black – Oji; Grey - Ucha nzu; White - Ocha ; Gold - Olaedo - I derived these colours mostly by blending or joining two or more colours together; for example I derived the word for brunneous (dark brown), by joining two words oji (black) and ‘uri’ (brown).
