Interesting, Andre. . . well for deck/porch, I meant the raised platform, at the front or back door of a house, not a chair.

@ChinenyeN,
Doorway - uzo
Door - uzo.
They have the same spelling but different meaning.
So stop saying "actual door".
Re: Nairaland Official Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba Dictionary by ChinenyeN(m): 8:54am On Jun 22, 2010
I'm asking, waiting until someone gives me an answer other than "uzo". . . but, if I go a while, and get no answer, then I may be forced to conclude that it does not exist, in Igbo. 'Til then I wait.

Haven't you heard abt homonyms?
God! I hate self-willed people!
They want to know, yet they do not listen.
Re: Nairaland Official Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba Dictionary by ChinenyeN(m): 2:12pm On Jun 22, 2010
Your stressing yourself over nothing, cantell. There's a reason why I requested for all those particular words to be translated. There is something that I want to find out. So, sorry if me still requesting for the translation of "door" bothers you, but because I'm specifically looking for a particular word, other than "uzo", "door" will remain on the list. I'm sorry (I shouldn't even have to apologize to you. . . making fuss over nothing).

Now, if you don't mind, you could attempt those other words that I still have on the list, which have gone un-translated. If not, then please go your way and stop bothering me over "door".
Re: Nairaland Official Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba Dictionary by cantell(m): 7:06pm On Jun 22, 2010
I ain't stressing and i don't need ur apology.
You can post it a thousand times, i don't give a damn.
Just thought i shud help, but it seems you know the answers already.(attitude problem, i think)
Just have one thing in mind, Igbo language is not up to 60% complete in English translation, so most of the English words are not in igbo language.
Best of luck in getting ur answers.
