I know am alive because am chating with you, and not only that you can testify to that, others too can testify to it. If am not alive,, i will not be here chatting with. I know this by contrasting the tendencies of other living and non-living matter, in terms of responding to impulses.

Here is a thing about existence, human as the only intelligent being here on earth that is capable of thinking about why they are here, have been tracing their origin based on evidence they are capable of laying our hand on. The same way police would launch an investigation in a crime scene in order trace the lead based on evidences gathered within, so as to ascertain the perpetrator, motive and methods used in such crime despite being absent when such crime happened.

To the possible best i can account for our existence is based on evolution by natural selection. It is evidence based, not taking a superstitious story with faith.

Faith + unverified assertions = gullibility

HUMANS.... If you cant understand it you cant believe it. There in lies our fault. You cant belive in God because you view him as you view yourself : weak, powerless,a lesser being.
Answer me this, is it more comforting to believe that this infinitesimal galaxy came from a BIG BANG, than to believe that someone is capable of such immense power,love and faithfulness.

Truth don't seek your comfort. You may believe something for good or bad reasons. That doesn't make any different whether or not your believes are true.

Would you rather believe something without evidence than things with evidence and prove?

If I was active in religious section of nairaland the year the OP opened this thread, I would have aggressively attacked him for attacking Yahweh. Hmm. Not knowing that this is a precursor to the imprisonment of Yahweh aka Jehovah who is now bound in his spiritual cage.

I'm happy nature is exposing the gods of religion.
