Thirty Three contestants, drawn from the three senatorial districts in Akwa Ibom State will battle next weekend for a brand new Hyundai car at the grand finale of the on-going Promise Hunt talent show in Uyo.

The contestants, made up of musicians, dancers, creative artists, balladists and stunts bikers are in high spirit for the event holding at Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Hall, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo on Friday October 2nd, 2015 by 10am.
PromiseHunt - a talent discovery project of Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation (AKBC) is organized to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the creation of Akwa Ibom State.

Already, the contestants are being groomed for success in a tough performance academy where the realities of what it takes to become a superstar will be exposed, as leading specialists from all fields of the industry are on standby to give them the very best of professional experience and coaching.

A release by the organizers say, winning the grand prize will be based on 70% decision by the judges and 30% voting by the general public. The public is hereby advised to vote for their favourite contestants as much as they can to help them cart away the star prize. Entry into the hall for this event is free.

Other items to be won include LED TVs, Home Theatre Sets, Refrigerators and cell phones. The show will be beamed LIVE on AKBC TV Channel 45 and on Startimes TV Channel 113.

PromiseHunt is another way by the Corporation to discover talents and encourage them to rise to stardom. The show will be held annually.
