Igbos Are Big Threat To The Yoruba's. by Bobbystanley(m): 9:37pm On Sep 27, 2015
Speaking from my experience here on Nairaland, I've come to realise that the Igbos are great threat to their Yoruba counterparts.

They Yoruba's.believe that nothing Good comes out from the Igbos. But they Igbos are rare gems, Hardworking set of people who make something out of nothing.

Yoruba's would always tell the Igbos to go back to their land forgetting that it Is the one Nigeria their forefathers craved for. They Igbos are Landlords to Yoruba's in many parts of lagos. But to be honest, it Is too late for Igbos to vacate Lagos.

Its belongs to every Nigerian. It Is no man's land.

Sure, ibos are hardworkers... After all, it's not easy to smuggle drugs inside and outside international Borders. Sure, Ibo's are brilliant. It is not easy for a president to uniquely Bleep up a country. Ibo's.......... Worst hypocrites I've ever met.
P.S.- keep deceiving yourself that Lagos is no man's land. When you find yourself in the lagoon you will know

Thank you jare my fellow Nigerian. Keep fanning the flames but remember your life savings and investments are here. Not only has Igbo individuals invested their all here in Yoruba land, the vast majority of Igbo state allocations have been laundered to Lagos. All the money meant for the development of Alaigbo has been stolen and used to buy properties in Lagos state. Igbos are serious mumu! Just one crisis is all we need in Lagos for Igbos to lose everything.

You expect us to rush into street fight like Ojucrook did and lost 3 million people? Igbos are the easiest people to deal with, just let them rant while you polish your strategy and reason. The hostility is slowly taking hold.

If there should be crisis in Lagos, it would affect every tribe.

And you said that the treasury from igbo land are stolen by individuals to buy property in lagos forgetting that Lagos Is the only State in the south West that Is worth talking about.

The treasury of Ekiti, Ogun and Osun State that havent paid salaries in three years are used for what.

These three States are not better than any South Eastern State FYI.

No it means we are smarter than you grin why bother to chase you away when we can have you continue to help develop our land while you neglect yours grin when Nigeria separates which it eventually will you lot will go back to your undeveloped home empty handed while we keep moving forward. Any vacuum lefty your traders will easily be filled by the Chinese . So tell me who's the real Mumu grin

The best part is geographically when Nigeria separates no pipe dream of yours can make Lagos become part of the SE. In the meantime Yorubas will continue yo rule you here, even in the markets you still bow down to the laws of Iyaloja and Babloja and there is nothing you can do about it.

By the way the real cowards are those the Oba threatened with the lagoon and couldn't do anything but let Oba have his way at the end of the day wink

U have written what your small brain could come up with.
It Is the Commercial capital of Nigeria. Developed with Nigerian money not Yoruba money. It belongs to every Nigerian. If you leave Lagos for the Yoruba's, in six months they would turn it to Osun State.

It Is Nigeria. It Is no man's land

I would be worried if this statement was coming from Peter Obi, Kalu, or any other Igbo leader of note (u really couldn't think of any!!, you don't have any leader of note). As for you, Firefire, chukwudiot temitemi & co, you all are nobodies just internet ranters. The paramount leader (The Oba of Lagos) has spoken.

I'm not Yoruba, but most of the Yoruba commentators here exhibited sound mindsets while the OP seems to be living in a fool's paradise. If Igbo and Yoruba become separate countries tomorrow, will Igbos still living in Lagos declare Lagos a no man's land?

You call it no man's land, we laugh, cuz you know u Igbos have a very funny sense of humor.....If Nigeria splits, you all become foreigners, anyone that can't trace their lineage to any of the Yoruba sub group is at the mercy of whatever immigration policy is set. From Ilorin there were Igbo's everywhere, even the in countryside like Omu Aran and Igbo's.....the Day Nigeria breaks is when you'll realise of much of you actually reside far from home.

Is true that all we need is one crisis in Lagos and guess what?... we igbos are even looking for the crisis so we can take over Lagos entirely.. better go and ask hausas in kano what the igbos did to dem during the last crisis and even took some of their properties from sabongeri to other part of kano since then they have been calm and praying for peace in their own state..
So we are even looking forward for the crisis and if the yorubas don't bring it up, we might start it

One thing I like about the yorubas is their cowardness.. Is very funny seeing a yoruba man after much ranting and making noise when you engage him into a fight you will see his legs reaching his back while running. .
You have said enough and we are looking forward for that glorious war to conquer Lagos..
Talking of biafra war and ojukwu, go and ask the hausas how the war was on their side even with the support of the government and international supports they got during the war, they still lost more lives more than us go and ask.. And they still respect the igbos till date. .
They can still tell you how the lost thousands of lives in kano during the last crisis with the igbos.. I was there in kano present no one told and see how the igbos from sabongeri was entering the hausa houses door by door looking for dem while all of went to the nearest police station to take refuge..
So stop barking behind ur doors, open it and come out right now and chase de igbos away lemme see if you will survive the first 25minutes of the war

Lagos remains a no man's land and a potentially Igbo land with time. Even at present, violence is only needed to make yorubas negotiate for Igbos not to take over the whole of Lagos.

Yorubas know too that they are losing Lag with Igbos population. Soon stories from lag will be about tribal clashes and tussle for power.
