Truthfully, it looks kinda plain. But it's not lacking in symbolism. Beside the colors, the major rivers are captured, and d eagle depicts d popular national team once feared worldwide(super or flying eagles was once the 5th best footballing national team in d world). The vegetation surrounding d rivers represent fertility and untapped natural resources.

you will see a Y shaped river flowing on the green,that represent the R. Niger and Benue and the tail represent the N.Delta. The green land on which the river flow is our green land vegetation
the art work shows the value of Nigeria.

The Nigerian football team is called the SUPER EAGLES, The president's jet is called EAGLE ONE, We have an eagle in our coat of arms... so there's everything nigerian about it!
