THE RAISING OF PALESTINIAN FLAG AT THE UN, A GLITTERING HOPE TOWARDS AN AMIABLE FREEDOM

The world is still pleasantly overwhelmed over the historic moment that occurred when Palestinian flag was raised at the UN on Wed 30th September.

The General Assembly voted on September 10 to allow the flag to be raised. Out of the 193 countries in the U.N., an overwhelming of 119 backed the resolution, with 45 abstentions and eight votes against.

The overwhelming support for Palestine at the UN is a reflection of genuine advocacy for justice and the recognition of Palestinian State and its noble struggle for freedom by the global community.

The event also opened new positive thoughts for the people of the world on the United Nations that has been heavily criticized by political analysts for always conniving in the "Vetoing" that has vitiated the moves to recognise the Palestine at the UN overtime.

Palestinians are sowing their seeds of love and affection in the global community through an unmatched level of intellectualism and admirable tolerance.

According to the CIA World Factbook. Palestine has 96.5% literacy from age 15 and above in 2013. This is an enthralling percentage that is above the literacy level of China, Portugal, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, India or any African Nation.

Despite the restricted life they have endured for long. Palestine has 94.5% literacy for female. A 20-year-old Palestinian lady, Iqbal El-Assaad graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar (WCMC-Q) as World's youngest doctor in 2013.

Also in 2013, an 18 year old Ibrahim Saad from the Gaza Strip in Palestine designed and built equipment, in his home workshop, that converted hydrogen gas, using water and chemicals, to power an electricity generator and produce cooking gas. Using basic resources to produce the equipment, the creative development was tagged a solution to tackle the energy problems of the Strip.

Palestinians outside their country have shown adorable zero involvement in crimes or any social vices compared to any other citizen.

Without a little doubt, it is obviously true by simple observation that the contribution of Palestinians to the global community through its intellectualism and tranquil humanitarian dispositions have enabled her to erect her National tent closer to many countries of the world.

The Center For Human Rectitude congratulates the Palestinian people and the United Nations for this great move that can ultimately lead to the peaceful Middle East that we all yearn for. We also profoundly thank the Nations that voted "yes" to the resolution coupled with the fascinating asseverations that accompanied their speeches .

The global community would continue to find peace only by placing its judgment on justice.
