"This information is fake. The NCA did not say anything of the sort to anyone at Guardian, either in Nigeria or in London. What the NCA has done is first to arrest Allison-Madueke, so they can seize her passport and restrict her movements. To seize that money they must have shown the judge satisfactory prima facie evidence that it could be the proceeds of crime. Now they can launch an open and full investigation into the activities of the woman and her cohorts. And incidentally President Jonathan would not be spared. With the court's permission the NCA can now subpoena documents from companies, banks, real estate bodies, etc. What the NCA is doing now is to complete the investigation started in 2013. Guardian is lying when it reports that the NCA is not planning to charge Allison-Madueke to court. In actual fact, the NCA is planning to charge her to court, as soon as they complete their investigation, which includes obtaining additional evidence from Nigeria, other EU countries, and the USA."

Just like the world was meant to come to an end if Jonathan was not reinstated as president. Time came, he was kicked out, nothing happened. Perennial noise makers and thugs, grow up and learn that the world does not hold is breath for your childish silly threats. If the woman has something to answer she has something to answer. Your noise making will change nothing and is nothing against the collective will of the majority of Nigerians who seek accountability and good governance.
He was kicked out?? You must be high on weed!!
When Jonathan commands, even Buhari obey.

Having been following some of the rather opaque reports filed by Tunde Oyedoyin, formerly of the dailytimes, I have my suspicions about his motives. More on this later.

Each time I witness drama like this on this forum, I fear for the future of this country. When the so-called leaders of tomorrow cannot agree or disagree on a particular issue whether good or bad along same line of thought without splitting so shamefully along tribal and ethnic divides, then one need not be told there is a serious problem. It is so disheartening that no matter how good or how bad anyone may be in this country, you will always most likely find some people backing or opposing him/her base on the cheap and shameful ethnic/tribal yardstick. To find this immoral acts among youthful minds is worrisome. Even if you kill people in broad day light, some people will still rise to your defense; no wonder even BH as inhuman and ungodly as they are has their sympathizers.

It will take God and God alone for Nigeria to achieve anything close to the high hopes some of us hold for it.

You spoke my mind. When they float the story of 18 billion pounds or so allegedly stolen I began to feel sorry for nigerians especially the gullible ones.It is only people that have what I call the el rufai or Oshomole mentality that will shun out or believe this balderdash. Why didn't Britain apply for the temporary seizure of this money instead of the paltry 24k pounds they allegedly siezed. We should endeavour to liberate our mind from this trash currently pervading our sensibility.
