All roads lead to Lokoja from Within Nigeria and around the world to attend the first edition of the FIRST MAN STANDING ON MOUNT PATTI, a mountain race tourism event to be held in Lokoja, Kogi State Nigeria, on the 24th November, 2015.

The event which is designed to be held annually, will showcase a number of activities, the climax of which is the race from within the Lokoja metropolis to end up on top of mount patti with various prizes to winners.

To kick start the event, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between an event management company, Daylight Network Nigeria Limited, and the Lokoja Local Government council.

The symbiotic relationship is a public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative designed to power the event through collaboration with a window for private sector participation by way of sponsorship.

The event is a Twelve and a half kilometers race from the confluence stadium to the top of mount patti which is about one thousand five hundred metres above sea level.
