Charles Okah, the alleged mastermind of the Independence Day bombing in 2010 has reportedly died in Kuje prisons where he has been held in custody for a number of years now.That twin bomb blast on October 1, 2010, which was the first to be witnessed in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, left scores dead and many more injured.Quoting “sources close to the prison administration,” 247ureports.com said that Okah died in prison custody shortly after returning from a scheduled court appearance.It’d be recalled that the suspect had attempted suicide on two different occasions. Although the information surrounding his alleged death remains sketchy, there are indications he may have died of suicide.Just yesterday, Charles Okah had attempted to kill himself while at the court house – for a court appearance.According to the report of a security agent, Charles Okah might have also died from mismanaged interrogation by prison officials and other government investigators.

Was he related to Henry Okah ?

If Charles Okah is dead, then GEJ has eventually silenced him.

The dude wrote all sorts of entreaties to influential Nigerians concerning his deplorable prison conditions as opposed to the conditions afforded even boko haram suspects by the same federal government of GEJ.

His crime was being the brother of Henry Okah the mend leader arrested and prosecuted by the South Africans for the bombing, and also being privy to Jonathan's stealth plan to implicate Northern politicians in the 1st October 2010 bombing that MEND never denied but Jonathan denied on their behalf.

Now he has been finally silenced even as an accused, let's see if Henry Okah will make it out of South Africa's prison.

Blast from the past.

This is the same country where a president without any investigation concluded that it wasn't MEND that executed the 1st Oct 2010 bombings, that he knows his people.
This was after same MEND had forewarned about the same bombing and had taken responsibility for it after the event. However the president said it couldn't be MEND, and covertly tried desperately to link it to some Northern politicians, even trying to rope in Raymond Dokpesi of AIT who was providing media services for the IBB campaign then within the PDP.

Fortunately, the South Africans helped to apprehend Henry Okah of MEND and prosecuted him for the same 1st Oct 2010 bombing that Jonathan tried to absolve his tribal brother from.

Fast forward to 2015, the same Jonathan at the height of presidential campaign regaled us with tales of how the secret service was aware of MEND's attempt to assassinate him on 1st Oct 2010, so he was quickly driven away from the venue after the celebration.

Please who can reconcile the 2 divergent facts I have made above?
